One of my hens took down a hawk that was after her chicks. It got away because I went over to see what the fuss was and distracted her long enough for it to escape. But it didn’t come back.

You know, if a bear tries to steal some yummy babies from mama goose, I'm not at all sure who's gonna end up fleeing the scene.

when i was young i was at my friends house with a pond, there was a goose nest nearby on the banks that i didn’t notice and lemme tell you when papa goose came flying across the pond i’d never run so fast in my life 😂

Ahhhhhhhhhh, so that's what the hawk right by the pond at work was up to today. Today was the first day our geese showed off their new babies.

These geese are pure evil.

They used to migrate from Canada to USA in the winter and then return in the spring. Now they just stay in the USA and crap all over the place.

The reaction that surprises me is not the adults. Note how the little guys somehow recognize danger and hide under the adults.

I remember watching a video where a Canadian goose was fighting a Swan and even though it was being overpowered it just wouldn't give up and the Swan ran away

I saw a cute thing several years back where a goose family was crossing a road and a trucker had stopped and radioed an oncoming truck whom promptly locked the brakes to get stopped in time. There are still good people out there

They care more about their young than humans

Geese don't give a fuck who or what you are. I work at Walmart and once had one hold up a truck on the side because it wanted lay in the middle of the lot and wouldn't move until it was good and ready lol
